Why?

This is your chance to take Kodiak Leadership Training in an exciting, meaningful environment! You will go away with experience as a trained recreational whitewater guide, trained in Kodiak leadership skills and Wilderness First Aid.

How?

Come as an individual Venturer or as a Crew. This trek is hosted by experienced whitewater Venturing Crews from the Seattle and Los Angeles areas. We are accustomed to large groups and have invested a lot of time and money in order to provide a safe, fun Kodiak experience!

Taking it easy on the riverHow Much?

This trek is funded on a cost-shared basis. We will divide up the costs of the trek equally according to our final budget. We are not commercial guides or outfitters, so no one takes compensation from the trip. All costs must be divided equally. Our best estimate, and one we will not exceed, is $600 per person for the entire two week experience. This is a very small fraction of the cost of a similar commercial trip, and costs less per day than a Philmont Trek.
